Miller Starr Regalia Announces New Managing Shareholder

Walnut Creek, Calif., (December 1, 2011) – Miller Starr Regalia announced today that effective January 1, 2012, for the first time in twenty-seven years, there will be a new Managing Shareholder at the helm. The firm is pleased to announce that Anthony Leones will succeed Gene Miller as the firm’s Managing Shareholder.  During Mr. Miller’s tenure as Managing Shareholder, the firm has seen significant growth and has expanded the breadth of its practice areas to provide a full-service approach to real estate law. 

Mr. Leones joined the firm as an associate in 1996 and has been actively involved in firm management throughout his tenure with the firm.  He is a long-time member of the firm’s Executive Committee and has also served as the firm’s Marketing Shareholder.  He has served on a number of committees including the Diversity and Compensation Committees.

 Mr. Leones’ practice includes representation of Fortune 500 companies, media and advertising companies, developers, renewable energy companies and construction companies in a wide variety of matters including eminent domain/inverse condemnation, commercial lease disputes, zoning, planning, permitting, regulatory and general commercial litigation.  He received his J.D. from the University of Pacific McGeorge Law School and his Bachelors degree from the University of California, Davis
