Miller Starr Regalia Senior Counsel Robin M. Pearson Honored

Walnut Creek, Calif., (November 20, 2009) – Miller Starr Regalia announced today that senior counsel Robin M. Pearson was honored at the Family Support Services of the Bay Area’s (FSSBA) 20th Anniversary event An Evening of Lights for her 14 years of service to the organization as an advocate and board member.

“This is an incredible honor as this organization’s work is profound. I am so delighted to be a part of such an outstanding organization that truly helps people within our Bay Area community,” said Robin Pearson.

As senior counsel with Miller Starr Regalia, Ms. Pearson’s practice consists of business, commercial and real estate litigation in state and federal courts, with an emphasis on disputes involving title insurance, commercial landlord/tenant relationships, insurance coverage, breach of contract, quiet title actions, foreclosures, and the purchase and sale of property. 

In 2008, Robin became the first African American and the fifth woman to serve as president of the Contra Costa County Bar Association. She has actively promoted diversity in the legal profession and fairness in the courtroom by serving over ten years combined as chair of the Bar Association’s diversity committee, co-chair of Miller Starr Regalia’s diversity committee, and as a member of the bench/bar’s joint Committee on Bias.
