 Miller Starr Regalia Shareholder Dana C. Tsubota Honored for a Second Time by HBANC’s Women’s Council

Walnut Creek, Calif., (November 20, 2009) – Miller Starr Regalia announced today that shareholder Dana C. Tsubota was honored with the President’s Award by the Homebuilders Association of Northern California’s (HBANC) Professional Women in Building Council at their annual fall event. This is the second time Ms. Tsubota has received an award from the Women’s Council as she previously received the “Rising Star” award. Dana is currently serving as Vice President and is also President Elect of the 2010 Women’s Council Board.

As a litigation shareholder with Miller Starr Regalia’s, Ms. Tsubota has expertise in a wide range of general commercial litigation matters. Her practice often includes purchase and sale disputes, land use and environmental issues, construction, landlord/tenant law, products liability, insurance coverage, and commercial contract disputes. In these arenas, Dana has successfully represented clients who include developers, lenders, homeowners associations, individual homeowners and real estate investors.

Ms. Tsubota recently served as the Urban Land Institute's Chair of the East Bay Programs Committee. She is an active member of East Bay CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) and is currently serving as the Chair of its Program’s Committee. Ms. Tsubota received her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California, Davis.
