Miller Starr Regalia Partner Robin Kennedy Honored
Walnut Creek, Calif., (May 11, 2009) – Miller Starr Regalia announced today that shareholder Robin Kennedy has been named as an honoree of GlobeSt.com’s 2009 Northern California’s Women of Influence in Commercial Real Estate award. Ms. Kennedy is one of 20 accomplished female professionals in commercial real estate that has been selected for this honor. In its inaugural year, the award will be given to the honorees at a luncheon to be held in June at The City Club of San Francisco.

Ms. Kennedy is a real estate and land use transactional shareholder in Miller Starr Regalia’s Palo Alto office. She was formerly Associate University Counsel at Stanford University, a solo real estate transactional practitioner, a planning associate for the City of Los Angeles, and a partner with Manatt Phelps & Phillips. Her practice includes public/private partnerships, ground leasing, commercial leasing, commercial and industrial purchase/sale and financing, residential transactions, institutional representation, and title matters.
Ms. Kennedy is President Emerita of the Board of Directors of Hillel at Stanford, a member of the board of TheatreWorks in Palo Alto, and a Spiritual Care Volunteer at Stanford Hospital. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Jewish Community Federation Capital Planning Committee and Stanford Associates. Ms. Kennedy received her J.D. and bachelor’s from Stanford University and also holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
