A litigation shareholder in Miller Starr Regalia’s Palo Alto office, David Marks specializes in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. He serves clients in an array of real estate and construction disputes, including construction defects, title and easement issues, purchase and sales transactions, broker liability, commercial unlawful detainers, lease disputes, dissolutions of business ventures and breach of contract.
David uses his experience in construction and real estate law to prepare construction contracts, review leases and counsel clients on insurance issues for construction projects. David also assists clients in the purchase, sale and leasing of residential property. He also has an extensive background in alternative dispute resolution, and is currently acting as an arbitrator, a mediator and as a Judge Pro Tem in Santa Clara County.
EDUCATION
David received a J.D. from University of California Hastings College of Law in 1988. He earned a bachelor’s degree, with departmental honors, from Stanford University in 1984.
