Karen Turk is a transactional associate in Miller Starr Regalia’s Walnut Creek office. While Karen's practice includes representing clients in various real estate transactions, she devotes most of her time to writing and editing Miller & Starr, California Real Estate, 3d and associated publications. In addition to coordinating the annual supplement to Miller & Starr, Karen contributes by editing and rewriting chapters on an ongoing basis. She is the executive editor of Miller & Starr's Real Estate Newsalert, a publication that includes summaries of new real estate-related laws and appellate court decisions. Karen is also the primary author of the firm's internal publication, In the Lupe (Land Use Practice E-Mail), summarizing appellate court decisions.
EDUCATION
Karen received a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. While in law school, she earned the American Jurisprudence Award in legal research and writing and won the Best Brief Award in Moot Court. She earned a bachelor's degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
