Lance, a transactional shareholder in the firm's Palo Alto office, has been representing real estate owners, operators, tenants and lenders for 25 years. He has substantial experience in pharmaceutical and biotech leasing (including laboratory and production facility leases), the purchase, sale and leasing of corporate facilities (including corporate campuses and data centers), retail leasing, office leasing, and the sale of REO properties.
Lance's practice also includes the preparation and negotiation of purchase agreements, leases and loan documents for environmentally impaired properties and advising clients in general regarding environmental compliance and potential liabilities. He also represents clients in a variety of other commercial contexts, such as secured and unsecured lending, problem loan work-outs, the formation and structuring of business entities, and the preparation and negotiating of consulting agreements and employment agreements.
EDUCATION
Lance received his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 1986. He also received his A.B. in International Relations (with distinction) from Stanford University in 1983.
