Laura Lowe is senior counsel in Miller Star Regalia’s Walnut Creek office. With an emphasis on matters involving escrow and title insurance, she has over 20 years of experience in real estate law. She often represents clients from the title insurance industry, serving as claims counsel, litigation counsel, underwriting agency manager and underwriter.
EDUCATION
Laura received a J.D., with honors, from the University of San Francisco School of Law. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Ohio State University.

She previously served as the chair of the California Land Title Association's Education Committee, and taught classes for various organizations including the California Land Title Association, the California Escrow Association, the California Bar Association-Real Property Section Annual Retreat, the American Bar Association-Title Insurance Litigation Section, the Western States Loan Servicing Conference, the Continuing Education of the Bar, the National Business Institute, Lorman Education Services, and the International Right of Way Association.
Laura is also an active volunteer. She organizes volunteers to provide clothes, school supplies and Christmas presents for Ashbury House—a group home in San Francisco—and she tutors children preparing for their Bar or Bat Mitzvahs. Laura currently serves as Vice President of her synagogue, Congregation Sha'ar Zahav.
She has published chapters in two books for the Continuing Education of the Bar. She was co-author of a chapter on escrow for Real Estate Sales Transactions, and she wrote both the chapter on title insurance and a section on avigation easements for Easements and Boundaries.
