Scott Hernandez is a litigation associate in Miller Starr Regalia’s Walnut Creek office. His practice focuses on real estate and business matters.
Prior to joining Miller Starr Regalia, Scott served as an extern with the Marin County Public Defender, where he represented clients in all phases of criminal proceedings, including misdemeanor hearings and felony trials.
Education
Scott received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. During law school, he received the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in legal writing and served as Senior Production Editor of the Hastings Law Journal. Scott distinguished himself in both appellate and trial advocacy, joining the Hastings moot court team, earning brief-writing and oral-advocacy awards, and taking top honors in mock trial competition. Scott earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts at New York University, graduating with honors.
