Miller Starr Regalia (MSR), a preeminent California real estate law firm for over 50 years, announced today that David L. Kanel is joining the firm’s Walnut Creek headquarters as Of Counsel in its real estate transactional department.
Kanel comes to MSR from the San Ramon, CA office of Trodella & Kanel LLP, where he was a partner with a focus on multi-location, multi-state real estate transactions, commercial/retail leasing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and complex contract negotiation. Prior to that, Kanel was Vice President and General Counsel for one of the largest restaurant franchise companies in the U.S.

MSR’s Transactional Practice Group works with clients involved in every aspect of the real estate industry, including leading international technology firms, national and regional retailers, shopping center developers, residential, retail, mixed-use, hospitality and industrial developers, banks and other financial institutions, management companies and real estate entrepreneurs. The Group handles the structuring and negotiating of complex transactions and due diligence investigations throughout the United States.
