As an experienced transactional shareholder, Jim has represented institutional and private real estate developers in all phases of development. His areas of focus include financial services, real estate transactions, and retail and commercial leases.

With over forty years of experience, Jim Frassetto is recognized for his broad-based experience in the representation of real estate clients. As a transactional shareholder in Miller Star Regalia’s Walnut Creek office, his practice includes the negotiation and preparation of agreements for real estate, business, and commercial transactions.

Jim’s experience extends to purchase, sale, and option agreements, commercial leases, ground leases, and tax-deferred exchanges. From conception and investment through construction and leasing, he has facilitated every phase of commercial, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use project development, both for institutional clients and for private developers and investors. Jim has also represented major domestic financial institutions in the negotiation of loan transactions and workouts.

A native Northern Californian raised in Castroville, California, on an artichoke farm, Jim has few interests outside his home state other than American music, world literature, major league baseball and European soccer.
