Lance has been practicing transactional real estate at Miller Starr Regalia for over thirty years. He represents tenants, landlords, sellers, buyers and lenders of commercial real estate and also advises owners and operators in connection with environmental compliance and risk management.
Lance is a shareholder in the firm’s Walnut Creek office. He has substantial experience in retail, office, pharmaceutical and biotech leasing (including laboratory and production facility leases) and ground leases, the purchase, sale and leasing of corporate facilities (including corporate campuses), and the sale of REO properties.
His practice specifically includes the preparation and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, leases and ground leases, subleases, access and entry agreements, and joint venture agreements. He also represents clients in other commercial contexts, such as the sale and purchase of environmentally impaired real estate, problem loan workouts, the formation, dissolution, and structuring of business entities, and the preparation and negotiating of consulting agreements.
