Hector Suarez is Senior Counsel in the Transactional Department at Miller Starr Regalia. His practice focuses on complex retail lease negotiations on behalf of national retailers, including Ross Dress for Less and dd’s DISCOUNTS. He also advises clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, including office leasing for both landlords and tenants, acquisitions and dispositions of commercial and industrial properties, and the negotiation of financing and joint venture agreements.
Prior to joining Miller Starr Regalia, Hector worked at a large national law firm where he represented institutional owners in the acquisition, disposition and financing of hotel and resort properties. He often serves as local counsel to out-of-state law firms handling commercial lease negotiations in California.
Hector’s experience includes negotiating and drafting retail and office leases, purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements and joint venture agreements, as well as related documentation such as LLC agreements, SNDAs and CC&Rs.
