Miller Starr Regalia (MSR), a preeminent California real estate law firm for nearly 60 years, announced today that David Chu is joining the firm’s Transactional Department as an associate.
Chu joins MSR from Lexcuity PC, where he counseled clients on a wide range of corporate, business and transactional matters. In addition to advising on corporate formation and operations, he has advised clients on sophisticated financing deals ranging in size from six to eight figures. He also advised on and structured crypto-related offerings under Regulation D and Regulation S and has advised clients on the tokenization of assets ranging from digital rewards to real estate.
“David brings a well-rounded corporate and transactional background to the firm,” said Xavier Gutierrez, chair of Miller Starr Regalia’s Transactional Department. “His talent and experience will be helpful to our group as we work to support our clients’ business goals in this busy time.”
Chu earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a B.A. in international relations. Earlier in his career, he was a legal intern at Fleishman Hillard and an intern at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.
