Miller Starr Regalia Shareholder Michael Di Geronimo to co-present “A Comprehensive Look at Retail Property Purchase and Sale Agreements: Are You Buying What We are Selling?” at the ICSC+U.S. LAW conference from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. This workshop will be an interactive discussion on current trends in the acquisitions and dispositions of both unimproved and developed retail properties. The workshop will cover how both buyers and sellers are handling basic contract issues such as default remedies, closing conditions (including those related to buyer financing), ADR, and indemnities. Michael and his co-presenter will also cover contract provisions relating to the sale of contaminated property, permitting conditions, outlot development, sales to allow for mixed used development, as well as trends they are seeing in the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements and best practices when representing a seller or buyer.
