Miller Starr Regalia, a preeminent California real estate firm for more than 45 years, announced today that Allison K. Wopschall is joining the firm’s Walnut Creek headquarters as a litigation associate, the second in as many months.

Wopschall comes from the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she was an associate in the firm’s litigation department. “Allison joins the firm just one month after the addition of another litigation associate and a senior attorney editor for our real estate treatise, Miller & Starr, California Real Estate” said Anthony M. Leones, Miller Starr Regalia managing shareholder. “In the last several months, the firm has significantly enhanced its core land use, environmental, eminent domain and litigation practices with a blend of seasoned shareholders and bright, young associates in both our Walnut Creek headquarters and new San Francisco office.”

Wopschall received her B.A. from Saint Mary’s College and her J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) where she was Appellate Director for the Moot Court Board of Advocates.

Last month, Elizabeth Rumsey joined the firm’s Walnut Creek office as a litigation associate and Star Lightner joined as a senior attorney editor. Three months ago, F. Gale Connor joined the new San Francisco office as a real property shareholder. Additionally, in September 2013, the former City Attorney for Walnut Creek, Bryan Wenter, joined Miller Starr Regalia’s Walnut Creek office as a shareholder in the Land Use Practice Group.
