This workshop will examine an array of matters relating to commercial real estate brokers and property managers, including: licensing requirements for brokers and property managers; market terms of commissions paid to tenant rep brokers and listing agents; common issues in commission agreements and listing agreements; the typical structure and terms of property management agreements. Practical consideration and tips will be offered on structuring commission arrangements and setting up the relationship between a property owner and a property manager. These issues will be looked at from the perspectives of landlord, owners, tenants and brokers.
