Miller Starr Regalia (MSR), a preeminent California real estate law firm for more than 50 years, announced today that Jane Rhodes Martin is joining the firm's Walnut Creek headquarters as a litigation associate.
Prior to joining MSR, Martin was a graduate law clerk at Alameda County Counsel. She was also a judicial extern for Chief Justice Tani Gorre Cantil-Sakauye of the California Supreme Court, where she researched and drafted preliminary opinions and analyses of draft opinions.
“Jane has showcased her outstanding research and writing skills at the California Supreme Court, California Attorney General's office and Alameda County Counsel," said Ella K. Gower, Miller Starr Regalia's managing shareholder. "We are thrilled that MSR will now have those talents in our growing litigation practice group."
MSR's Litigation Practice Group represents Fortune 500 companies, governmental agencies, developers, homebuilders, financial institutions, title insurers, property owners and managers, retailers, media companies, manufacturers, REITs and smaller companies in a variety of matters related to business, real property, commercial, environmental, construction and insurance-related disputes.
Martin received her B.A. (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Southern California and her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she won the Witkin Award (first in class) in legal research and writing.
