Miller Starr Regalia (MSR), a preeminent California real estate law firm for more than 50 years, announced today that Timothy Maes has been elevated to shareholder in the firm's Transactional Department. Maes joined MSR as an associate in 2015 in the firm's Walnut Creek headquarters. He previously practiced at the San Francisco office of Winston & Strawn LLP.
Maes represents tenants and landlords in commercial leasing matters and both buyers and sellers in acquisition/disposition transactions. He also assists with due diligence investigations and negotiates agreements that range from CC&Rs to easement agreements.
“Tim is an outstanding attorney and is among the lawyers that represent the future of the firm. His depth and breadth of knowledge in transactional leasing matters is invaluable to our clients” said Ella K. Gower, Miller Starr Regalia’s managing shareholder.
“Working at MSR for the past five years has been a truly rewarding experience for me as the demand for legal services related to real property has continued to grow in California,” said Maes. “Working through the pandemic has presented new challenges; however, the Firm has extraordinary lawyers and staff that have continued to showcase their dedication to our incredible clients. I feel extremely fortunate to be at MSR.”
