Miller Starr Regalia Welcomes Bryn Jedlic to Land Use Department

Miller Starr Regalia (MSR), a preeminent California real estate law firm for more than 50 years, announced today that Bryn Jedlic is joining the firm’s Land Use Department. He joins as Of Counsel in the firm’s Walnut Creek office, bringing to the firm more than 20 years of diverse experience as a lawyer, entrepreneur and global investment advisor focused on real estate.

“Bryn’s extensive knowledge of the San Francisco real estate market and the land use issues impacting development opportunities in the area will bring valuable insight and a unique perspective to our practice,” said Nadia Costa, co-chair of MSR’s Land Use Department. “We’re thrilled to welcome him to our group and look forward to applying his talents as we serve our clients’ needs.”

Prior to joining MSR, Jedlic acted as Senior Advisor at Viceroy Hotel Group, a Los Angeles based luxury hotel management company, and as Senior Advisor at Mubadala Investment Company.  While at Mubadala, Jedlic led the real estate team at Mubadala Real Estate and Infrastructure, overseeing the development of more than three million square feet of retail, residential, hospitality and office projects on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE, while also leading Mubadala’s international real estate investments and partnerships.

Jedlic earned his Bachelors of Laws from the University of Toronto, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Ottawa. He began his legal career at Shearman & Sterling as a mergers and acquisitions attorney where he worked in the firm's New York, Paris, and San Francisco offices.

MSR’s Land Use Department counsels clients through California’s complicated development permitting and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance process at every level of government, facilitating and obtaining project entitlements and related environmental compliance. In addition, Miller Starr Regalia works with clients in connection with all aspects of land use due diligence, entitlement strategy, project coordination and negotiation, and project implementation.
