Arthur Coon Of Miller Starr Regalia Selected As Best Lawyers In America © 2019 “Lawyer Of The Year” Oakland Land Use And Zoning Law - 10 MSR Attorneys Receive Best Lawyers Recognition

Coon, co-chair of the firm's Land Use Practice Group and chair of its Appellate Practice Group, has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America 2019© and has been honored as the Best Lawyers’ 2019 Oakland Land Use and Zoning Law “Lawyer of the Year”. In addition, nine other MSR attorneys were selected for inclusion in the 2019 edition of The Best Lawyers in America© directory. Marvin Starr, one of MSR's founding members, has been recognized by Best Lawyers every year since this recognition began in 1983.

This is the second time Coon has been named a Best Lawyers "Lawyer of the Year". Coon is the author of “CEQA Developments” (, a leading CEQA blog, and the CEQA chapter of Miller & Starr, California Real Estate, the most widely used and judicially cited California real estate law reference. He is a litigator at the trial and appellate levels of both federal and state courts and has appeared before the U.S. Supreme Court.
