Miller Starr Regalia today announced that Nina K. Prasad has joined the firm’s Transactional Department as an associate in the firm’s Walnut Creek office.
Nina’s practice focuses on a broad range of real estate transactional matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, and development projects. She represents institutional investors, developers, property owners, and tenants in complex real estate transactions, advising clients through all stages of the deal process.
Prior to joining Miller Starr Regalia, Nina served as Vice President, Real Estate Counsel at Kilroy Realty Corporation. In that role, she drafted and negotiated a wide range of real estate agreements and advised the business team on leasing, operations, and corporate governance matters. She also previously held roles as Senior Counsel, Real Estate, and Counsel, Leasing & Operations at Kilroy.
Earlier in her career, Nina was a real estate associate at Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP, where she represented institutional investors and developers in complex real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating transactional documents and analyzing leases and title matters. She also worked as an attorney at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, where she handled leasing and related legal matters across international airport properties.
Nina began her legal career with roles focused on environmental and public interest law, including positions with the U.S. Department of Justice, Environment and Natural Resources Division; the Center on Race, Poverty & the Environment; and Global Green USA.
Nina earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she also completed a certificate in Environmental Law, and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles.
